Teresa Anderson (she/her)

Teresa Anderson handles family court appointments for the firm’s attorneys, which primarily includes allegations of abuse and neglect of children in Jackson County. She also has extensive courtroom and bench trial experience in the family law area and is responsible for the preparation and disposition of these types of cases. She is currently working as a guardian ad litem in multiple child custody cases.

I have always been aligned with the underdog so this work just fits my personality. I do feel very strongly that everyone who has been in any kind of legal jeopardy should have an experienced attorney to advise them but connecting that to losing custody of your children, it becomes even more important. I also feel it is important for my clients to have someone who supports them and humanizes them to a system that at times seems to be against them regaining custody of their children.
