Richard Seaton

Dick Seaton is a semi-retired attorney and long-time Kansas Appleseed board member. He served as General Counsel at Kansas State University for 38 years following earlier service as Chief Assistant Attorney General for the State of Kansas. Dick is a past chair of the Appleseed board and continues to support the organization’s mission of systemic change and justice. He has also chaired the Kansas Division of the American Cancer Society and currently serves as vice chair of the Audubon Society of Kansas board of trustees. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Dick enjoys living on 61 acres near Manhattan with his wife, Martha.
