Nicki Rose

As Legal Director, Nicki oversees the organization’s impact litigation, evaluates potential areas for future legal action, and works with outside attorneys and public-interest organizations to bring about positive systemic change for the people of Kansas.

Before joining Appleseed, Nicki worked as a law clerk for The Hon. Daniel D. Crabtree in the United States District Court then joined Foulston Siefkin LLP’s civil litigation team in the firm’s Wichita office. While at Foulston, Nicki’s practice ranged from insurance defense and representing clients in contract disputes to representing plaintiffs in complex class action lawsuits. 

Nicki is a life-long Kansan, KU law graduate, and avid gardener. She lives in Wichita with her husband and their spoiled Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Rufus.
