New Report Release + Webinar Series

May 28, 2025

Today, we’re releasing our newest report, Representation and Wellbeing at the Polls: Racism, Health & Civic Participation and kicking off our upcoming webinar series with a presentation on the report!

Starting June 10th, the Civic Engagement Lunch and Learn Series will feature a discussion on our newest report, strategies for staying engaged between legislative sessions, and how to engage with your school board about children’s food access. Register for the webinar here:

  • June 10th at 12PM CST: Representation and Wellbeing at the Polls: Racism, Health, and Civic Participation
  • June 17th at 12PM CST: Civic Engagement 365: Staying Active Between Legislative Sessions
  • June 24th at 12PM CST: Engaging School Boards for Food Secure Schools

Our newest report shows that despite Kansans’ right to vote without obstruction, vulnerable populations continue to face an increasing number of voter suppression laws in addition to daily economic barriers that affect their democratic right to fully exercise political power.

We’re looking forward to sharing more from the report on June 10th to kick off the webinar series! Read the report here.
