Micah Tempel (he/him)

Micah Tempel is the Staff Attorney at Kansas Appleseed, bringing a background in both education and legal advocacy. Prior to joining the organization, he directed the Driver’s License Restoration Project at Kansas Legal Services, working to remove barriers to opportunity for low-income Kansans. Before practicing law, Micah spent seven years teaching high school history. He lives in Lawrence with his partner and their two young children.
